What do you think about the diagrams so far? I am currently thinking of the goal that states something about contemporary media. So far I have no idea what to say except that Contemporary media allows people to learn languages easily without the help of another person causing a disconnection between people all around the world. But that isn't what my diagram of flow is saying. Any ideas?
I've thought of a new concept : Contemporary media today distorts our view of the real world with the easy connection to different parts of the world, but in reality, the world is vast and consists more than what is seen in the screen as seen in this language library.

ReplyDeleteYes the world is vast. And I think it maybe consists of much more languages than what can you will be able to properly include in this library project. You did an extensive research. Did you already think about what according to your thoughts are the main connections between some of the languages? Or what can be most relevant in a city as NY? And how to treat/provide them (in an innovative way)related to contemporary media?
ReplyDeleteI also think there is interesting stuff happening between the teacher and his/her students. Like we talked about in studio. Questions as; Who is “in charge” of the knowledge. And what if the teacher knows a lot about one specific language but a student knows a lot more about two other languages, not involved in this class. Cross connections between users, they can be interesting for your project as well… What do you think?
